Today I went to my sister’s wedding at The Yukon Czech Hall. I am czechoslovakian and we used to go out here when I was a kid for family functions. I was always fascinated by the ticket booth and the fact that they had five dollar dances on the weekends.

Daredevil from my sketchbook. I don’t have Netflix so I haven’t seen Daredevil, but I have seen THE fight and it inspired this sketch. I should have referenced the scene, but it’s Daredevil fighting in a hallway. I was trying to capture the mood of a dim hallway. Also, I’m sick and this is my way of resting while recovering.

Cleaning my studio I found this promotional ‘towel’ from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy film. I discovered HHGTTG when I was a kid and I heard the original radio play. I was immediately hooked and was thrilled years later when the book came out. Sadly, the film never lived up to the name.

A group of us got together in Emerald City this past weekend and decided we wanted to do something to help a great guy and his family during a difficult time. We invite anyone who is willing to post artwork onto EBAY for a seven day art auction and give all proceeds to the Torres family. From my sketchbook Medusa of the Inhumans. The Inhumans are rumored to play a large role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and there is a push on them in the comics. I’ve always liked the Inhumans, the idea of this hidden society of super beings. I don’t know if Medusa will play a role in the MCU, but she is the Queen of the Inhumans and has living hair she can control.
