My current comic script calls for a terrorist base camp. I’ve never been happy with all my previous designs, but this one makes me happy. The truck floating in the air will be used somewhere in the middle ground and the guard in the foreground will help establish this is a ‘bad place’. My main goal was to make something interesting to look at and I think I managed to do that by focusing on design, not just in the flat plane, but treating the picture like a 3d space.
