Last night I watched Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and did these ink wash doodles in my sketchbook. On our Bond episode of Better Than Fiction, Barry Burris pointed out that Solace is really a third act of Casino and should be watched immediately after. That’s how I watched them last night and he’s right, but it makes for a 4 hour Bond film. It does set up some things in Spectre and makes it obvious that the Daniel Craig Bond films should be viewed as a complete narrative and separate from other Bond films.
