Lately in my sketchbook I’ve been experimenting with more tone in my pencil work. Last night I was looking at some reprints of The Shadow pulps and I wanted to try something similar to the ‘grease pencil’ interior illustrations and so drew this in my #strathmore #sketchbook with an old Wolff carbon pencil I had laying around. It’s more modeled after The Spider than The Shadow but either way I love those old Pulp characters and I’d love to draw a pulp comic one day (hint to any writers!) #illustration #pencildrawing #pulpheroes #thespider #pulpfiction https://ift.tt/3uf49Th
