Today I spent all morning get Michelle & I’s cars service so I spent longer than hoped at the dealership. I took my small sketchbook and did a couple pages of figures plus a sketch of the parts/service area. I did the blue figures at home in my larger sketchbook. This is all part of the ‘Advanced Comic Art’ class at Comics Experience.

Last night I started the ‘Advanced Comic Art’ class at Comics Experience. It’s basically small group style mentoring under artist Robert Atkins. Part of my assignment is to fill several pages day with figure drawing practice. This is a torso exercise, if you get this part right your on the right track.

I am taking the Comics Experience ‘Intro to Comic Art’ class and the first part of our homework was drawing a section of a novel. Here’s where I break it down into panels. Stay tuned for art.
