I got my Nil-Tech sketchbook in today. It’s a little cumbersome to be a daily carry sketchbook, but the paper is very white and has a fine tooth. The weight feels comparable to cardstock so the sketchbook is thicker and heavier than comparable size sketchbooks. Still it seems nice to draw on and should hold up to markers or light wash easily. The cover has a cool design and is a slick cardstock that should wear well. I’ve had this in my wishlist for a while and I’m glad I pulled the trigger during the prime day sale. #sketchbook #niltech #artsupplies (at Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) https://ift.tt/3zWkQqh

Early morning doodles. I read the original x-men omnibus the other day and tried to really look at what Kirby was doing with his figures. This is almost the end of my Fabriano Classic Artist Journal. I’ve had this sketchbook for several years and I really love it for on the go sketching. It’s about 5x8 and has about 400 pages so it feels nice in the hand. I’m down to about 10 blank pages. Luckily I’ve got a few more in my stash because these can be tricky to find. I bought this one at the long gone Pearl Paint in NYC. #doodle #sketchbook #fabrianopaper #artsupplies #pencildrawing #figuredrawing #gesturedrawing (at Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) https://ift.tt/3pbhcTi
