One thing that is great about Spider-Man is he has an interesting cast of villains. I should have drew him with a bowl cut! #docock #droctopus #spiderman #comicart #makecomics #marvelcomics #fabrianoartistsjournal #okcartist #sketchbook (at Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) https://ift.tt/NER75zx

Another experimental doodle of my favorite comic character. My weekly comic buying has lapsed lately, but this week I picked up 3 Spider-Man comics. #comicart #spiderman #marvelcomics #fabrianoartistsjournal #doodle #doodlesofinstagram #art #pencildrawing #okcartist (at Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) https://ift.tt/A79cFtj

In spring of 2003, I visited (then assistant editor) C. B. Cebulski at Marvel comics. I never like showing up empty handed and so I brought a Spider-Man sample to show him. In an old sketchbook I found my first attempt at this sample. I thought this was long gone so it was cool to find it this week. A lot of people didn’t like the thick outline I used on my figures and a lot of people told me to knock it off. It’s a little much here, but I do like a thicker liner around the figures. I was also told my work was too cartoony (this was in the era of Bryan Hitch) C.B.,however was pretty cool and spent the afternoon teaching me about Storytelling in Comics. #marvelcomics #spiderman #cbcebulski #makecomics #pencilart #okcartteam (at Super Giant Art) https://ift.tt/2KUUr61
