Digital painting of the terminal at Love field. Drawn on my ASUS Vivo Note tab 8 in Manga Studio. The ASUS is an 8” tablet that is nice for traveling and sketching, but is a little small for fine work.

Another page of ink brush doodle I did during last nights movie. I’m definitely a rookie with the brush pen, but I’m getting better. It’s all tied together, working with a brush helps my drawing comics digitally and my digital painting informe my comics. It’s all about training the brain to see light and form and the hand to depict it.

At my dad’s birthday party I found this photo of me in the back of my dad’s old Subaru BRAT probably in the early ’80s. Not sure why I was holding an axe, no doubt celebrating manhood.

I love this photo. For some reason it reminds me of a Sunday night in NYC which always seems to have its own vibe to me, unlike any other place I’ve traveled.

From my sketchbook from memory. Drawn with a Kuretake brush pen with Gelly pen stars. The plan is to add signage in photoshop, but I am Pc less for a week. Had I been on the ball I would have made it New Years Eve in the drawing.
