Anyone who knows me knows I carry a sketchbook everywhere and I’m super picky about which one I use. @cansonpaper_northamerica makes great sketchbooks but I recently ‘hacked’ a Canson spiral bound Art Book Universal by unbending the wires slightly and adding about 60 sheets from an identical sketchbook. 7”x 10” is a great size for a daily carry sketchbook and the additional pages give the book a heft the original lacked. I’m guessing there is about 150 sheets in the book now, so this might last until summer. #sketchbook #sketching #instaart #CansonPaper #CansonFeaturedArtist #DixonTiconderoga #Ticonderoga @cansonpaper @dixonticprang (at Super Giant Art) http://bit.ly/2RlEapg

I started this sketchbook in October and I only got about 10 pages left in it. I’ve carried it to New Orleans and NYC twice and it’s taken a beating. I picked this up when I was in a bind, but I’m not crazy about the paper, it’s rougher and softer than I prefer. http://bit.ly/2AlD0ok
