I’m reading Pattern Recognition by William Gibson and decided to do a quick page of sketches inspired by the book this morning. I’ve loved Gibson’s writing for years and I really enjoy his modern work. His work has a fluorescent bulb feel that I enjoy. It’s not the best description but it’s the feeling you get when you get off a plane late at night in a large city and you’re looking for baggage claim in a washed out, overlit airport.
