I was reading about the Sailor Moon Challenge and I thought it would be interesting to try it in my classic comic style. The challenge is supposed to be digital and every piece I’ve seen is in color so I’m not really following directions. Because art is all about following the directions and doing what they tell you. Anyway I was happy with it and so I thought I’d throw it online. #sailormoonchallenge #makecomics #pencildrawing #fabrianoartistjournal #marvelcomics #marvelhousestyle #sketchbook #doodle #doodlesofinstagram (at Downtown, Oklahoma City) https://ift.tt/2Xv2fPP

Today I drew a motel restaurant in my sketchbook. When I was a kid and I went to ‘hotel’ comic cons, my parents would drop me off and I’d eat at the restaurant. It was cheesy but added to the experience. #pencildrawing #fabrianoartistjournal #fabrianopaper #drawingfrommemory #drawinginteriors (at Super Giant Art) https://ift.tt/2LroJLV

I wanted to draw an old school style Dungeons and Dragons illustration this morning so I did this drawing of a giant lizardman fighting a dwarf. When I was a kid I’d draw this sort of thing all the time, I should do more. #fantasydrawing #od&d #whitebox #adandd #pencildrawing #sketchbook #fabrianoartistjournal #drawingwhilequarantined #dungeonsanddragons #dungeonsanddragonsart (at Super Giant Art) https://ift.tt/3etAYF1

I’m in #downtownokc today and I did a #doodle at the #okcmemorial Every time I visit I’m horrified at what hate over ideological differences drove someone to do and I fear we haven’t learned anything. #okc #nationalpark #fabrianoartistjournal #neverforget #midtown (at Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum) https://ift.tt/2N63TDV
