I had a few spare moments this morning so I messed with this a little more. I probably need to spray fix that page in my sketchbook now. #okcartteam the (at Super Giant Art) https://ift.tt/39Hbz72

Michelle and I finally had the chance to visit Mixtape/Factory Obscura and it’s really cool. It’s an interactive art museum that I could have spent all day exploring. If you know it’s in The Womb, the galley/practice space owned by Wayne Coyne/The Flaming Lips. Over the summer this was home of The King’s Mouth, a metallic tree housing a cool light/soundshow. My only regret is today I was wearing a heavy coat and with all the climbing and crawling it got really warm. Still it’s really cool. It looks like it was a fun build, I wish I’d have been able to make one of the volunteer days! #okcartteam #factoryobscura #waynecoyne5 #theflaminglips #okc #oklahomacity #coolestcityintheworld (at Factory Obscura) https://ift.tt/2R3FYqJ

I’m feeling like my art has been a rut for a few days. There is this theory about learning art that shows it like a dual sine wave where your brain learns before your hands learn to do it. This means progress can be punctuated by periods where you actually seem to be going backwards until you hands catch up. I feel like I’m in a backward stage, but if I push through I’ll make massive progress. Tonight I did this doodle that I thought came out okay. I’ll probably ink it tomorrow at lunch if people seem to like it. #okcartteam #marvelcomics #comicartist #wolverine #cansonpaper #pencilart #comicbookart (at Super Giant Art) http://bit.ly/2IlmLgB
