Ink doodles of the ‘90s X-Men in my sketchbook. My Gambit is a little dodgey, I’m sure he’s off model, but I was going from memory. I know he used to smoke & had a rattail. Drawn with a pentel sign pen, my favorite sketching pen.

Ink concept doodles from my sketchbook. I’m working up character designs for a possible new project. I drew these straight in ink with my new favorite tool, the Pentel sign pen. It’s got a bit of flex and great to doodle with.

I inked my Hulk sketch from the other day. I used a Pentel sign pen, a felt tip pen with a pretty flexible tip. It gives a nice bold line like a sharpie, but with a little more point on the end and a lot more variation in the line.
